App reviews

What do the app-store reviews say?

A store rating is one signal. The app, platform, review date, and feature being discussed tell you much more about whether an experience is relevant to you.

The dated store snapshot

Observed October 26, 2026 on Apple’s US listings and Google Play pages showing United States (English). Counts below are rounded exactly as displayed, using the Play listing header consistently.

CommunityApple US ↗4.5/540K ratings

These are recorded observations, not live ratings. Apple calls these counts ratings; Google Play labels its counts reviews. They are not pooled into one score.

What readers reported

The visible review examples provide context, not a representative survey. We did not calculate positive/negative shares or treat reviewer reports as verified defects.

Garage & Access Control

Visible Apple examples describe the convenience of phone control alongside freezes and requests for car integration; some examples date from 2019 or 2024. Visible Google Play examples from 2025 discuss slow startup, ads, notifications, loading, and camera concerns.

myQ Community

Visible Apple examples combine convenient entrance access with responsiveness and sign-in concerns. Google Play examples from August–September 2026 discuss login/access reliability and requests for Android Auto.

These limited observations do not establish current failure rates or how the app will work with your own equipment. No complete review text is reproduced here.

How to read reviews for your setup

  1. Match the app and platform

A Community review is not evidence about a consumer garage workflow. An Android experience may not describe the iPhone version.

  2. Check the date and feature

Distinguish current sign-in experiences from old hardware reports. A camera-storage complaint may not say anything about basic door control.

  3. Look beyond the average

Read recent detailed examples and developer responses. Check official compatibility and subscription terms separately.

Store reviews are people’s reports. Manufacturer documentation describes supported behavior. Neither is a substitute for testing your exact setup.
