Hyundai & Kia myQ: Check ccNC, Then Link

Hyundai and Kia myQ integrations require eligible ccNC-equipped vehicles in the US. Their account and plan paths differ, so choose the matching brand instead of borrowing a similar car’s instructions.

Hyundai

The official page lists selected 2025/2026 Sonata/Hybrid, Ioniq 5/5 N, Santa Fe/Hybrid, Tucson/Hybrid/PHEV, Santa Cruz and Kona/N Line/EV with ccNC.

Kia

The FAQ lists 2024/2025 EV9 and 2025 EV6, K4, K5, Carnival and Sorento. Its broader 2024–2026 headline does not establish every 2026 model.

Required accounts

Use MyHyundai with Bluelink for Hyundai, or Kia Access for Kia, plus your working myQ garage account and network connectivity.

Choose the right path
  1. Check exact vehicle
  2. Confirm working myQ door
  3. Link eligible account
  4. Parked, observed test

Work through the connection

  1. Confirm ccNC and eligibility

Check the vehicle’s actual head unit and account eligibility. Do not assume an older model qualifies because its name appears in a search.

    Expected result

Connected Garage is offered for the exact vehicle.

  2. Start in the parked vehicle

Open Connected Garage on the touchscreen and scan its QR code with your phone.

    Expected result

You reach the appropriate Hyundai or Kia linking experience.

  3. Follow your brand’s account path

Hyundai: continue in MyHyundai with Bluelink. Kia: use Kia Access, then Connect Store → Connected Garage Door Services → Start Free Trial → Link Account → Authorize. Read the displayed terms before accepting.

    Expected result

The correct myQ account is authorized for the vehicle service.

  4. Return to the vehicle

Open Connected Garage and confirm the door. Make one safe, observed test before configuring any automation.

    Expected result

The intended garage appears and works.

If something does not match

No Connected Garage feature

Confirm ccNC, model/year and service activation with the manufacturer. A 2024 Tucson or Telluride query does not establish eligibility.

Trial or billing is unclear

Hyundai advertises a three-month trial and paid plans. Read Kia’s own store terms for Kia; do not apply Hyundai’s terms to it.

Common questions

Are all 2026 Kia vehicles supported?

No. The page headline is broader than its detailed FAQ list. Confirm the exact vehicle in Kia’s service before relying on the feature.

Do I need to reprogram HomeLink?

Account linking and HomeLink radio memory are separate. This flow does not require generic LEARN-button programming.
